Alexan River Oaks

I am going on my 3rd year living here and I can’t say enough great things about Alexan River Oaks! From the amazing amenities, to the leasing staff, concierge staff, cleaning staff, and the maintenance staff. Safety to me is the #1 thing I look for since we are in Houston and I have never once felt like safety has been an issue. Our cleaning staff works hard keeping our building clean and I have never had an issue with maintenance taking long to address any issues I may have. For the safety, location, amenities, spacious layouts, and how well all staff has treated me and how quickly the leasing staff has address my concerns, I feel the prices are reasonable as well as the renewal rates. Also, a special thank you to Baltazar for always helping me and always being a friendly face to run into in the hallways! I can’t express how truly happy I am making the choice to live here! :)

Lived here for 2 years and it had it's positives and negatives, but ultimately more negatives. I have never had such a hard time with the application process. It was very extensive and time-consuming and I consider myself to be fairly on top of things. I thought it would ultimately be worth it if they were being that picky, but the lack of respect that the residents have for the property is its ultimate downfall. Someone on our floor let their dogs have the most disgusting and putrid explosive diarrhea near the elevators and continued to leave without cleaning it up immediately. A maintenance person was there cleaning it up before that person returned. This is just one example, but you get the idea. There are some really nice people that live here, but it's a mixed bag. The building is also cheaply built - you can hear every cabinet closing and every step your upstairs neighbor takes. No ones fault really, just poorly constructed. Don't be fooled by how flashing things appear. Overall, not worth it. We moved to a MUCH nicer building in a better area for the same price and square-footage.

I am so grateful for the Alexan River Oaks Team!! They made my move within the community seamless. The team here goes above and beyond, which is rare in today’s society. From our superb manager to our maintenance team, they do a amazing job! I needed some assistance with my boxes and one of our maintenance guys Dartagnan Burris stepped in and helped me with them all!! I love it here!! Elite Community 10 STARS!
