Bell South Shore

Fantastic apartment building. I’ve lived here for 2 months now and have spoken with management on numerous occasions and each interaction had been very professional and polite. The staff goes above and beyond, Jolene and Joy are awesome. Maintenance requests are completed quickly and the amenities are always kept in great condition. Premises are cleaned regularly. The area is also safe, I was worried from what I heard about south riverside previously but I walk my dog every night between 10-12a and have never felt unsafe. Probably the nicest apartment gym in Austin, and being a 1 minute walk to lady bird is just perfect. So far has been my favorite apartment unit in Austin.

I've been a resident at Bell South Shore for a year now, and it has consistently been a great place to call home. However, the recent management change has truly elevated the community to another level! Jolene has been an absolute standout during this transition. Her helpfulness and dedication have made a noticeable positive impact on the entire property. It's clear she's committed to making Bell South Shore the best it can be. The maintenance team here continues to be fantastic. Over the past year, they have always been incredibly responsive and on top of any issues that arise. Living on a top floor unit, we've honestly experienced very few problems throughout the year, which speaks volumes about the quality of the apartments. And let's not forget the beautiful pool area – it's truly a wonderful pool to enjoy year-round. Finally, considering the layout and the overall quality of the community, the rent is quite fair, especially when compared to other apartments in the area. The only garage-related issue I encountered in the past year was when the door malfunctioned as I was leaving once. While I ended up just taking an Uber that time, I was impressed by how quickly maintenance addressed and fixed the problem. I've also found the bathrooms here to be surprisingly spacious, which is definitely a plus. You don't feel cramped at all. After a year here, I can confidently say that if you're looking for a fantastic place to live in Austin, look no further than Bell South Shore! I look forward to another year here.

We called our emergency maintenance line and was directed to a call center. From there we got a call from Ahmed who was very responsive. He came from a distance which was a bummer, for both him and us. Our alarms had been going off for over an hour and a half past 11PM . As soon as Ahmed arrived he quickly diagnosed the issue of having fire alarms from 2014 that were expired. Disappointed in the building and wait time of not having someone on site. Props to Ahmed as he was great and knew exactly how to handle the situation.
