Lived here for 2 years and really loved the potential of the complex, however, there were a bunch of maintenance, cleanliness, and pest control issues. I rented a studio that was way overpriced for the quality I was receiving. Put in multiple maintenance orders for the walkways, pool deck, etc to be power washed (never got addressed), for pest control to come out (they did but I constantly dealt with ants, gnats, roaches, etc. despite the treatment), and for trash to be picked up on a consistent basis (hit or miss). The alley behind the complex leading to the parking garage is full of pot holes and will damage your car. The parking garage itself is need of major TLC. Elevator was out of order the entire time I lived there. There are better, cleaner, places that are worth your time, money, and energy.

I lived at Lonestar Lofts for a year, and honestly, it was a really bad experience. The rent is high for the kind of service they provide. They didn’t return our security deposit, which was very frustrating. One of the rooms even had black mold, but they brushed it off by saying it was just fungus. There are definitely better and more affordable places out there. If you still want to take the risk, that’s up to you.
