The best part of this place is the prime location. It’s next to great restaurants and bars, close to Hermann Park for running, and the surrounding neighborhood is nice. I’ll also say the maintenance team was great - responsive and professional when repairs were needed. Unfortunately, the biggest issue here is management, specifically Brandi Collins, and it completely ruined living here. From the start, management was disorganized. When I moved in, I was told they “ran out” of garage fobs and that I’d have to wait for one which was ok with me. I informed the leasing office that I was parking in guest parking until I received the fob because I had no way to park in the garage. A few weeks went by with no fob so I continued to park in guest parking (again, the office was aware). Eventually my car got towed, and their response was basically: - “You aren’t allowed to park there.” - “You should have parked in the garage.” - “The garage door has been open because it’s broken, so you should have parked in the garage” - “We can’t check every car in guest parking to make sure they’re residents.” That response was unacceptable. First, the garage shouldn’t be broken and left open to begin with. Second, you absolutely should do your due diligence before towing residents’ vehicles when you created the situation. Third, maybe don’t move people in without the ability to access the garage they’re paying for. They eventually got my car out of the tow lot for free since it was their mistake - but it never should have happened. The other major issue is the paper-thin walls. I’m not exaggerating when I say it sounded like King Kong lived above me. You hear every footstep and every sound. I even received a noise complaint for watching a football game with a couple of friends at NOON. If you value peace, privacy, or normal living noise, this place isn’t it. They also advertise being “dog friendly,” but that’s debatable. There’s a dog park, yet you’re supposed to have your dog on a leash at the dog park… that defeats the entire purpose of having a damn dog park. I initially signed a 6 month lease to test the place out, and honestly planned on renewing mainly because it was convenient for work and I was too lazy to move. Then to my surprise I received a notice of non renewal. When I asked Brandi why, her response was literally, “just because.” When I asked what she meant by that, she repeated, “You’re non renewed just because.” That level of unprofessionalism is insane and tells you everything you need to know about her and how residents are treated here. For context, my next door neighbor was a police officer - if I was a terrible neighbor or too loud, he would have been the first one to knock on my door. Overall: amazing location and solid maintenance staff, but management is rude, unprofessional, and disorganized, and the building itself was nice but the walls are paper thin. I would not recommend living here unless you enjoy walking on eggshells. If you can afford an extra $200-$400 pay it and live somewhere else. I lived at Muse in the Museum District for 5 years—first in a 1-bedroom, then a 2-bedroom. I loved the location and community until the building was sold to Westdale. Since then, management has gone downhill, and many residents (including me) have moved out. Maintenance is slow and unreliable—simple issues like fixing blinds or a broken elevator took weeks. Communication is poor; their app barely works, emails go unanswered, and updates rarely reach everyone. Rules are enforced inconsistently—dogs roam off-leash while I was told my own children “count as guests,” limiting my use of amenities and even getting fined for too many guests. It’s disappointing to see such a great place decline due to mismanagement.

***AVOID!! Lots of better options for the price point. I am not someone who even leaves reviews but I felt compelled to create an account just to give my honest, unbiased review upon moving out. Where to begin. First of all, appliances, apartments and amenities are extremely dated. This property opened in 2014, and you can tell. Nothing has been renovated or upgraded since. I moved in with my boyfriend who was already a resident here and I really hated my time here. To add to the dated apartments, the appliances are extremely cheap. Our fridge water dispenser and ice dispenser did not work the entire time we lived in our apartment. We put in 5-10 requests just for that, and maintenance would find the cheapest fix and it would stop working again the very next day/same day. Eventually it got too exhausting to keep up with all the maintenance requests so we bought water bottles and used ice cube trays. Fire alarms and smoke detectors go off at a random, and management frequently would give less than 24 hour notice for fire alarms, planned outages, etc. This was infuriating as someone who worked from home, I’d have little to no warning before fire alarms blared through my calls. Amenities are non existent. From first glance, the gym looks like a nice space for a quick workout. WRONG. Out of the 3 basic treadmills, you can expect all of them to be out of order or just one operational treadmill for hundreds of residents. They have the audacity to charge an amenity fee when the majority of the equipment is broken. This has gone on for months by the way. See photos below. Gates are constantly broken leaving residents trapped or circling the garage until someone coincidentally opens the gate. When the storm hit in July of 2024, the gates had to be open with a code for almost a year. Same thing with the elevators, constantly dealing with elevators that do not work! As an EV driver, I rely on the charging service installed in the garage through Xeal. Initially I was excited to know I had an EV charger. But it is not well maintained, price aside it is in horrible shape. Need to wade through standing water and actively leaking water to charge my vehicle which feels unsafe and is an inconvenience. Upon moving out, Brandi asked me if I’d like to take advantage of the move out inspection. I declined but what she failed to mention is that we would incur additional cleaning fees and charges by waiving the inspection.They charged us over $500, and we have both lived in multiple communities prior and have never been treated as such and have been absolutely disgusted with the way management has chosen to handle issues. TLDR: do not live here, there are way better options for the money!
