Solomon

We recently moved into the Solomon, and after a little over a month, we can confidently say our experience has been exceptional. Amanda and Kenny in the leasing office made the transition easy with their friendly, patient, and helpful support. Their clear communication made settling in effortless. We also want to highlight Esperanza from the cleaning crew, she’s always cheerful, kind, and helps keep the building spotless. The entire maintenance team deserves equal appreciation. They respond quickly, pay attention to detail, and consistently keep the property in excellent shape, often completing requests the same day. For anyone considering making the Solomon their home, the staff truly cares, the building is maintained at a high standard, and the environment feels safe, clean, and welcoming. Moving here already feels like one of the best decisions we’ve made, and we’re grateful to be part of this community.

We’ve lived here for nearly two years and while there have been some hiccups, the new management has done their best to rectify past mistakes and make the community better. They keep the property beautiful, are very communicative, and make sure residents are following the rules. They have solved a lot of unique situations for us and gone the extra mile to make sure we feel safe and happy in our home. Our apartment is lovely. We have a huge balcony, laundry room, and walk in pantry. The two story gym is fantastic and so is the sky lounge with rooftop pool. This is the only place I want to live in Austin. (If rent stays the same, we intend to live here for many years)

I really like the building, location, and community. The design and amenities are highlights, as are some staff members, especially Lauren, Erica, Esperanza, and the maintenance team. They work hard to keep the building looking/being nice (changing carpets, painting walls, acting fast on poor behavior from residents) and organizing regular activities such as yoga sessions in the courtyard and game nights. Like any other place, it's not perfect. We've had some frustrating situations with management: the package room is messy, an episode of a double standard for trash valet hours, and a strange rule that all the TVs in shared spaces must be on at all times (no remote avaiable, with some rooms having four or five TVs - as if we don't deal with enough screens already. it drives me CRAZY). However, there have been no serious deal breakers for us so far. It's expensive, but mostly worth it. Unfortunately, we've heard they are raising the prices, and because of that, many people who signed a 1 year lease are not going to renew their contracts. That's a bummer because the people who live here are super nice. We'll see how things are when our time is up too.
