I lived here for 1.5 years and if I didn’t have to move because of work I don’t think I would have ever moved out! The staff is incredible, especially Jorge and Nick. Concierge was always nice and everyone just went above and beyond for me and made me feel at home. The amenities were great and location was even better. As a woman living on her own I felt very safe going walking around river oaks district and in grey house. My apartment (building D) was always quiet and the modern style was absolutely perfect for me. It’s going to be hard to find a new place that lives up to Grey House! Thank you all so much and I truly miss being there!

Avoid this building. I too was lured by the location. Management (Greystar) does not seem to care or does not have adequate resources for a building of this type. The two hot tubs are out of service a majority of the time. Trash and debris will clutter the hallways and remain there for days before anyone does anything. There is dog urine and feces in the elevators, garage, and halls all the time. Security issue are not taken seriously. Several garage thefts. It is a shame since it really could be a nice building.

I've been a resident here for several years now and overall had a pleasant experience up until about a year and a half ago. The apartment has grossly overcharged me by $5,000 for water, sewage reimbursements, and "utility set up fees" over the 18-24 months. I used to pay around $50 per month for all three line items, but out of the blue, they were increased to $150 per month. When I first addressed it with management, they said there had been an oversight in my account and I was being undercharged, and the new number reflected my "actual usage". Fast forward to today, and my current bill shown under rent due for water, utility set up fees, and sewage reimbursements last month equates to $425.06. I just visited with management and was told they would reduce it to $200 since that's been my "historic average", which is still significantly above the apartment average. They are unwilling to lower it anymore despite my neighbors typically being charged around $50 per month. I have addressed the issue numerous times with management, and not only are they impossible to get ahold of, they are unwilling to reasonably work with me. They gave me a small concession when I brought the rapidly growing number to their attention in January, but it comes nowhere close to the $5,000 in overages that I have been charged. Further, management is incompetent, unresponsive, and won't take the time to scrub my past bills. I still have never met Jayden Vanderbilt, the property manager, despite living at Greyhouse for more than 5 years. They have tried to gaslight me numerous times in telling me that this problem is my fault for not bringing up sooner, despite having an email receipt that I sent them when the issue first arose. I finally had to go downstairs and speak to Jorge about the issue since Jayden is never available, and he told me I needed to do a better job of following up with them because they are "too busy." I have gone as far as reaching out to upper level management at Greystar, but this issue is not getting resolved. I am at the point of engaging an attorney to draft a demand letter. In addition to all these problems, the property is falsely advertised as having 24 hour concierge. There have been numerous times this year I have ordered ubereats around 10:00pm, and I had to go meet them in front of the property because there was a sign saying there wasn't a concierge available during evening hours. My car was also stolen in 2023 from the resident parking garage at Grey House, and I know of several other cars that have been stolen from the apartment over the years. The entry gate into Building A is broken about 50% of the time, and there are consistently non residents parking in the garage. Management never once sent out an email notifying residents of all the car thefts, and when my neighbor complained to management about the lack of communication with residents about the ongoing crimes after my car was stolen, they told her that my situation was "an ongoing investigation and couldn't be proven stolen" despite there being video footage of my car being stolen... I live on the Westcreek facing portion of the property, and there is construction equipment being stored in the vacant lot that is moved every evening at 11:30pm and 5:00am. It's impossible to sleep short of earplugs and a white noise machine. The video attached was taken at 10:49pm on March 26. All that said, avoid this property at all cost. **Update in response to Grey Houses comments which I've screenshotted and attached in case they try to remove it** Mgmt rarely responds to emails and has never once replied with a time they are available to meet. You have to reach out via phone and follow up to get ahold of them. I tried going down 3 times between 3/7-3/11between 9-5 and they were there only 1 time. In regards to the water issue, their solution is to adjust my water bill to "historical averages" at the beginning of every month, which they claim is $200. That number is 4x of my neighbors, and they are refusing to lower it any further.
