Lived in the property for three years our one bedroom apartment #457 was good never really had any issues besides there never having any hot water cheap electric boilers. The last year I was there was in apartment#260 The windows leaked when it rained made various attempts to get the office to send maintenance to seal them they always claimed that the problem had been resolved but close to my lease ending they said we can’t do anything about it. Had an ant and roach problem and the apartment was always hot the ac unit never functioned or at least it never managed to cool down the apartment. I was never late on rent I always paid one week or two ahead of the due date it was around 2,100$ for the rent plus utility fees. When I notified the office 90 days before the lease was up that I would not be renewing the lease the issues became worse I started getting eviction notices on my door claiming I had missed a payment I had a new born baby in the house and they were leaving notices threatening to have us locked out the apartment When we checked the portal it said I owed 18,000$ they apparently never received any of my payments or so they claimed but that was dismissed due to the payments being in my bank account history then at next months billing the updated version of that was that I owed them 9,800$ followed by more eviction notices and at the same time management was going into the apartment while no one was home. At the last billing I received a final bill of 2,800$ or so I contacted the office about it they said that was the final bill and I had the contract that stated my final rent amount would be around 1,100 plus utility’s they said they would fix it and get back to me and all they did was send it to collections now I’ve had them contact me for the past 3 years trying to get me to pay 2,100$ already taken a hit on my credit because of these apartments and yet they still refuse to allow me to pay the amount that was on the actual contract they threw in a couple of fees that make no sense like a 250$ car port fee I’ve never had a reserved parking spot and it’s a parking garage with no assigned parking so yeah stay away from these apartments if you want to pay that much to deal with this just rent a house
