Kenzie under the Bridge SUCKS! Avoid avoid avoid Since the day the new management company (Bridge) took over at The Kenzie, the quality of living has noticeably deteriorated. You can tell things are declining from the inside when even the smallest details, like the complimentary coffee, are downgraded to an undrinkable option—yet they still claim to provide resident benefits. The garage door has been broken since May. In August, the new management promised it would be fixed within a month, yet four months later nothing has been resolved. There is always a new excuse for the delay, even as rent continues to increase. They have also attempted to add unexplained fees to our account. When I reached out for clarification, no one responded. I have tried contacting management through the resident portal, email, and in person, but they are consistently unavailable and unresponsive. When we raised larger issues—such as the broken garage door, multiple stolen packages, homeless individuals sleeping in the lobby, missing door handles, and unsecured access to the building that allows strangers to walk around—the response was simply that they are “making improvements” and “organizing community events.” Community events are the last thing we care about when basic safety and maintenance are being ignored. When we brought up repairs and safety issues that clearly need attention, we were told that management does not walk around the building and instead relies entirely on residents to report problems. Why is there management, then? What exactly are they doing? They certainly are not inspecting the property, ensuring things are functioning, or taking accountability. At this point, it feels like their only priority is collecting money from residents while providing nothing in return. Several apartments have also been dealing with ants and cockroaches. Even though we pay for pest control, our initial request for help was ignored. Only after going down a second time did they provide roach traps, but no ant traps, and no one inspected the unit. It took weeks just to receive minimal assistance. They continue to charge questionable fees without providing any proof or explanation, even after repeated requests. Residents are expected to follow every rule and pay every fee, yet management fails to meet even their most basic obligations. They even waive certain fees for select residents, resulting in an unfair and biased environment. Many of the units facing the Westin have also become nearly unlivable. Starting as early as 5 AM, trucks constantly back up, unload, rattle bottles, and create intense noise. On top of that, there is nonstop construction noise throughout the day, making it impossible to rest or work from home comfortably. Management provides no solutions or accommodations for this persistent disturbance. The balconies also appear to be structurally unsafe, yet no action is being taken. This management team does not care, is not helpful, and has allowed the building, living conditions, and services to deteriorate significantly. I would not recommend The Kenzie under Bridge management. Elevators are also never working!!!! Below are just a few images of the issues we are seeing with multiple door handles missing (including on the inner part of the trash room so you are locked in if it shuts behind you), the broken garage door, balconies sinking lower with each day and cracks getting bigger. We are worried it could collapse any day.

Yesterday, 12/16/25, I moved into The Kenzie, and unfortunately, I did not have the best move-in experience. My unit was not cleaned prior to my arrival (pictures attached). There was dog hair on the floors, pieces of glass (one of which became lodged in my finger), residue on the cabinets, dust buildup on the baseboards and outlets, and dirt and trash left near the refrigerator area. I immediately brought these concerns to the attention of the leasing agents. Although the in-house cleaners were sent to the unit, the cleaning performed was minimal and still not satisfactory. More importantly, this should have been properly addressed before my move-in. The cleaner who was sent only wiped down the cabinets with visible residue, leaving the other issues unresolved. Additionally, the attachment located at the bottom of the refrigerator had come off, and there were cobwebs throughout the entire attachment, further demonstrating the lack of cleanliness in the unit. This has been a very disappointing experience, as I was genuinely looking forward to moving to the Domain area and expected a more luxury-level living experience, which unfortunately has not been the case. I’m sharing this experience in hopes that management improves their move-in standards for future residents. This location has a lot of potential, but the condition of my unit upon arrival fell far below expectations.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Absolute nightmare living experience. I lived here for over two years and eventually left because the property became completely unlivable. This place went downhill fast and never recovered. Everything started falling apart after corporate removed the last experienced on site management. Once competent leadership was transferred out, the property rapidly declined. After the damage was already done, the property was sold and management was changed to Apartment Property Management (APM), now operating under the name “Bridge at the Kenzie”, and things only continued to get worse. Staff behavior is unacceptable. One interaction with the new assistant manager was so hostile and inappropriate that I had to walk away to avoid escalating the situation. Professionalism here is nonexistent. Maintenance, security, and daily operations are a mess. Common areas are filthy. The gated garage door was broken for months and left wide open, making the building completely unsecured. Anyone could enter at any time. Parking was a nightmare due to the confusing layout and repeated exit loops. I often had to walk an unreasonable distance just to reach the garage. Elevators frequently broke down and fire alarms went off in the middle of the night with no warning or accountability. Communication from management was nonexistent. Security failures also affected access. Gate codes often did not work, making it impossible for guests or food delivery services like Uber Eats and DoorDash to reach apartments. Despite this, residents were charged a delivery or service fee that provided no benefit. Amazon packages were regularly stolen, and at one point a homeless individual was able to stay inside the building for about a week without management noticing or acting. Pest control is clearly neglected. Leaving a loaf of bread on the counter overnight resulted in ants swarming the kitchen by morning. Ants and roaches were an ongoing issue and management failed to address it. Amenities are mostly useless. The pool was never usable. The gym is poorly designed and fully exposed to a busy street with no privacy barriers, making it extremely uncomfortable to use. Having clean glass on both sides makes no sense and renders the space awkward and distracting. They also marketed a fancy coffee machine as an amenity. At first it worked and cups were provided. Then it became bring your own cup, followed by no coffee on weekends, and eventually it stopped being reliable altogether. I ended up buying my own coffee machine. Rent is extremely expensive for what is offered, and utilities make it worse. I lived in a studio apartment and regularly received utility bills around $250, with roughly $175 attributed to HVAC alone. Even during non peak seasons, the bill only dropped slightly. Management never provided a clear explanation, and charges appeared to be averaged across the building, forcing residents to pay for usage they could not control. Bridge at the Kenzie is overpriced, poorly managed, poorly maintained, and exhausting to live in. The security failures, pest infestations, broken infrastructure, hostile staff, misleading amenities, and unfair utility practices made this a constant source of stress. Please listen to me, read this carefully, and look elsewhere. You will thank me later. Save yourself the money, the time, and the frustration. DO NOT rent here.
