The Waller

I moved into the Waller this fall and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. As an Austin native, I recommend it to anyone moving here. Biggest pros: Nico, Dom, and the rest of the staff are all very friendly and willing to help. Maintenance is very responsive. The other residents are great and there are lots of awesome dogs in the building. Amenities are top tier and so are the views (making it worth it to pay extra for a balcony unit). Waterloo park is also fantastic and so are the concerts that happen there. The only con would be that some residents do not clean up after their dogs around the building. Realistically, this is an issue that is prevalent in any downtown apartment building. I've appreciated that The Waller has taken noticeable steps to improve it since I moved here.

The Waller community has been amazing. As someone moving across the country to Austin, Dom Williams and the team made the entire process seamless and comfortable, which meant a lot during such a big transition. The building itself is beautiful, and I had the chance to visit during one of their community events—even as a future resident, I felt truly welcomed. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents and the overall sense of community. I’m excited to be calling The Waller my home for a long time.

The Waller staff and customer service are awesome—everyone’s super nice, especially Hannah! I love my apartment. The only thing it’s missing is a pantry and a linen closet, but other than that, it’s been great. I love my balcony, the huge closet, the built-in desk, and the big bathroom. I’m only moving because I’m looking for a little more space, a yard for my pup, and some extra parking.
