Great location and a very nice building. It’s within walking distance of the Pearl, and everything you need is within a 15-minute drive. The main downside is the noise. The floors are very thin, so you will hear upstairs neighbors. Also, while the front desk staff is consistently kind and helpful, the property managers tend to be responsive only when money is involved. Overall, we had a good experience living here, but prospective tenants should be aware of the noise and the property management issues. For example, I emailed months in advance to schedule a move-out walkthrough and received no response. I followed up closer to move-out and again received no response. When I spoke to the front desk a day or two before moving out, I was told the managers might be busy but would contact me. They never did. I called again before we left, and no one was available to do a walkthrough with us.

Tin Top Apartments are located in the newly developed, safe, and upscale Creamery area. The location is exceptional, boasting meticulously maintained public areas. It’s great for people who work from home as it offers a free conference room and office desks. A walking trail adjacent to the building connects to the famous river walk. Restaurants and major attractions are just a walk away. Convenient parking is further enhanced by the presence of EV chargers in the parking garage. It would be ideal to have a bike stand in the parking garage, considering the proximity of scenic trails just a few feet away.

I recently moved out of this complex and there’s many things that happened, but I also understand not every complex is perfect. What started out as a 5-star apartment went downhill slowly throughout my lease. From constant car break-ins, broken gates, malfunctioning elevators, theft of complex furniture, and incompetent leasing folks — it was a mess. A lot of residents were upset about it and no changes were really done… but hey, we got a fob installed on a elevator to protect the complex — which I don’t know if it did anything. Besides that, the maintenance guys were helpful (shoutout my boy Mark) but it had a superficial vibe to the complex. It didn’t feel like a home really — more like just give me your money and whatever. And I’m not asking or saying I was searching for a place to greet me everyday but it just felt off a bit. Also, to finish off, please don’t promote the speakeasy and then not inform people you have to pay a hefty fee to use it. Like its apart of the amenities… and you’re already paying a lot… which is understandable because it’s luxury… To sum up — the complex is described in the photo below or attached.
